About Us
We are your photography duo. We have been together for about four years and couldn't be happier! Together we have a German Shepard Named Aurora and unfortunately lost our angel pup Kimber the beginning of this year. We currently both work full time outside of photography, Levi as a foreman for Conley Tile and Kayla as a Laboratory Operations Associate for Charles River Laboratories. We have a very busy schedule outside of photography that's for sure!
We have both always loved and appreciated photography but for the longest time never bothered to think about picking up a camera for ourselves.
Our photography journey started about three years ago to capture images of each other on our various mini trips and vacations so we had photos to look back on, as well as to take pictures of our horse showing and dirt bike riding hobbies.
We started out with a Nikon d3300. At the time we had no idea what we were getting into but we loved this little camera. It was a great starter, even though it felt like learning a new language, but we quickly fell in love with the art. After a few months we started getting requests from friends and family for pictures and received so many compliments for our work and decided that maybe we wanted to turn this hobby into our own business.
We started taking classes and watching YouTube video after YouTube video trying to absorb all of the information that we could. We then finally upgraded to a Canon 6D our first full frame camera. Then not too long ago Levi got a taste of the videography side of things and has now ventured into that art so we purchased a Canon M50, and a Ronan gimbal in hopes to one day be shooting and offering wedding and event videos! On top of that from the sessions and support that we have gained so far we were able to upgrade the 6D to the 6D Mark II, so now we each have our own camera.
That's the perk to us being a duo, you not only get one but two which means twice as many shots! We have only been on this journey for going on 4 years now and the support and clients we have received so far are absolutely amazing! Our goal is to not only take absolutely gorgeous photos, but to create a relationship between our customers. We love learning about each and everyone's unique story and to be able to capture that story in a photo is why we do what we do.
Its me, Kayla!
Hey there it's me! Im your girl behind the lens! Although we are a duo, I typically handle all of your family, senior, newborn, and couples sessions solo. You'll see Levi tagging along for extended families, engagement session, or carrying props. These more intimate sessions and milestone moments are my favorite and hold a special place in my heart. A close runner up though is of course WEDDINGS!! Both of us love getting to spend your special day with you!
When I am not behind the lens or in the office editing like a crazy women, you'll find me playing fetch with the dogs, hanging out outside, or scrolling through Pinterest to find my next model call inspiration.
I am currently taking classes at Oregon State University to complete my Bachelors of Science in the Summer of 2024. I have always had a passion for animals and western fashion, so if you have furry friends you want to incorporate into your sessions, or want to show off your western side.... I'm your girl!
Fun fact before I started this business I was super shy, and now if you know me, I do not like to stop talking. I have grown so much as a person through this business and I could not be happier. I owe all the crews to you though, I would be where I am today with you!
It's me, Levi
I'm the fun energetic guys behind the lens, that is dancing with you at your wedding, hyping you up for your big day, and always keeping everyone laughing! While Kayla is out doing Lifestyle sessions, you will find me managing inquires, sending contracts, and taking care of the not so fun aspects of the business like finances and bookkeeping. Although I do not typically tag along for these sessions, I'll often tag along for extended families and mini sessions to help with posing and such.
My Jam is hands down weddings! I have so much fun capturing the special moments between the bride and groom, and getting to create a fun memorable day for them to look back on. Car and Truck edits hold a close second for my favorite types of shoots, so if your a senior, couple, maybe even for a milestone session and you want to incorporate your families cool car, or the truck you've spend months working on the garage in your session, I'm your guy. I love the adventure and action shots, and I will do just about anything to get that perfect shot, I have literally have slid down a hill covered in rocks, but hey the shot was worth it!
When I am not taking pictures you will find me outside with my dogs, in the garage building my truck, or hanging out with my buddies.
I have a bubbly personality and love to have fun! I am so grateful for the opportunities that this business has given me and all of the friends and amazing people we have met!
