What's Your Style
We like to capture your moments in a moody rustic tone with bold colors that highlight your smiles. We have a candid focused approach as we feel that the raw emotions in an image tells a story, rather than stiff posing. You will find us giving you and your family more prompts rather than standing poses. This way there's movement and now twos poses are the same, we want you to do them your way!
Do You Travel?
Yes! We love getting to explore new places! We are currently based out of the Kalamazoo area in Michigan so any location within a 30 mile radius does not require a travel fee.
What Should I bring to my session?
Your Smiles! All jokes aside we've got you covered. You are always more than welcome to bring your own ideas and props, but do not worry I have everything you need.

What Should I wear?
The most important thing to remember is to wear something that you feel good in. However, lighter neutral tones and pastels stand out the best in outdoor lighting. You do not necessarily match but find colors that compliment each other. There is a link on the clients page to our outfit guides if you are looking for some inspiration.
When is the best time to schedule my session?
That golden hour glow! This is the hour right before blue hour when the sun starts to set, or rise. This time will depend on the time of the year but just request it and leave it to me to figure the out! I try my hardest to stay away from harsh light between 11-2pm to avoid those awkward shadows.
Can I bring my Dog?
Unless the location does not permit pets, then 100% yes, please bring them. I am a sucker for a cute pup and I love getting to incorporate them into your session. Don't have a dog, but maybe something with hooves? By all means please include them farm sessions are our FAVORITE!
FAQ
When Should I Expect a Sneak Peak?
Sneak Peaks will be sent in the order of the sessions taken. Typically these will be sent within two days following your session. During the busy season (August-October) please expect a small delay. We try our absolute best to stay on schedule but please understand that we are only two people and also have full time jobs.
When Should I book my session?
Short answer, Now! The sooner you book your session the better. My books start to fill up about 2 months in advance, and we already have wedding clients set for the following year. Weekends dates go quickly so if that is a need, hop on over to our inquiry page now!
How Do I Book My Session?
Hop on over to the Contact page and fill out an inquiry. Once we receive your email, we will be in touch with you to figure out details and set a date. From there we will create your contract and you're all set. Easy Peasy!
